Red Knob Farm, Little Britain, PA

These pictures show the Young family of Red Knob Farm in Little Britain,PA transferring manure from their main storage at the dairy facility to the field. They are using the services of Nolt's Transport in Peach Bottom, PA to haul the manure in their 5,200 gallon vacuum trucks to the field where it is transferred into a portable holding tank. From the holding tank, it is then pumped with a Houle Booster Pump through the Cadman 6" supply line to a used hard hose traveller and then through a Cadman two nozzle spray boom.

Penn England Farms, Williamsburg PA

Mobile pumping unit utilizing engine out of a wrecked silage truck to power Houle booster pump. Application boom for drag line is carried on the front and the drag hose reel is pulled behind the unit when moving from farm to farm.

Just like Fred - it ain't pretty but it's functional!
